A new online shop:)

I am very pleased to announce that the wonderful online shop Kickcan & Conkers is now opened!!! A very sweet English lady in love with vintage toys and artwork and also some warm and sentimental, yet modern works of different artists from all over the world, has been gathering these little bits of treasures and making a unique collection for her shop. My ballerina hand made dolls and some gift cards are also among the chosen ones:) So, without further delay I present to you http://kickcanandconkers.bigcartel.com/

Book cover!

I'm very pleased how this book cover came out, especially considering that it was done in 2 days! I love the atmosphere of the cover, plus I'm happy that I managed to do something for a slightly older population of readers than what I am used to:) It's a book for girls from 16 to 20 years old. It's supposed to come out during the Belgrade Book Fair that is opening on Monday. I can't wait to hold it in my hands!!!

Back to school!

Hey everyone, I'm back from my vacation! It was great, except that I'm so tired I need a REAL vacation now! Try running after a 1,5 year old boy all day long and you will get the picture:)))
Remember when you were a kid, and every year at the end of August these Back to school! signs would start popping out everywhere?! Oh that was just so annoying to say the least:)
Well, I'm not in school anymore, but there is still work to be done:) Hope you all had a fun summer!

Workshop Broochmania!

On Wednesday and Thursday I had the honor to meet two great people, professors from Konstfack, Stockholm, Miro Sazdic and Tobias Birgersson, plus a bunch of people that I knew from before, just not that well:)
But let me explain from the beginning. I took part in a workshop in kc Grad, called Broochmania, that was held by these two professors. I thought that they would teach us some practical stuff in making jewelry, brooches to be exact. Instead, they gave us much more than any of us had hoped for. We discussed our work with them, analysed it among each other, talked, gave advice and interesting comments and suggestions on how to improve our work and much more. It was truly a unique experience, very hard to explain to someone who wasn't there. I wanted to do something outside of my comfort zone and in some way I think I succeeded. Here are some photos of my work. I made five pieces, But I feel that the one that''s on the last two photos is most complete. Even two days after the workshop has been finished I feel so fresh, positive, inspired. I could not have hoped for more:))

Is winter really over?

Or will we have 18 degrees over the weekend and than get back to -5 on Monday? I really hope that's not the case, I'm soooo ready for spring!
